Contact Lens Evaluations

Even if you already wear contact lenses, you may not realize how many different kinds of contacts there are, or how new materials and designs can improve your vision and eye health. Whether you need them for sports, work, or just occasionally, we can choose the best lens for you.

Eyes come in different sizes and shapes, so you need to have an accurate “fitting” to make sure your lenses fit your eyes properly. To do this, we take special measurements of the curvature of your eye and its surface, checking for factors that will affect how your lenses fit. Finally, your cornea will be carefully examined to make sure there are not any problems that could make it hard for you to wear contact lenses.

Have you been told or thought that you could not wear contacts because of dry eyes or too much astigmatism? Dr. Schwartz has extensive experience fitting difficult cases such as excessive astigmatism, dry eyes, and bifocal contact lenses.

The goal of our contact lens fittings is to find the most appropriate contact lens for your optimal comfort and vision. Albertville Eye Care is committed to finding a lens that will fit you properly. In our experience, the extra time, effort and patience are very worthwhile, both for your ultimate satisfaction and the health of your eyes.
